Vivo V11 Pro price Philippines Review: Far From Perfect
Smartphone makers nowadays sell all sorts of phones for different purposes like gaming, selfies, or watching movies. The two most active brands in the selfie-focused smartphone market are OPPO with its F series and Vivo with its V series. In this review, we will talk about one of the best selfie-focused smartphones in the Vivo V series. In particular, we will go through Vivo V11 pro price Philippines and specifications.
Vivo V11 Pro price Philippines
In case you don’t know, the Vivo V11 Pro is pretty much the Vivo V11 in the Philippines. The two phones have the same set of specifications, with the only difference lies in the internal storage.
The Vivo V11 pro price Philippines is PHP 13,999.
Vivo V11 Pro review: Design & Display
Since the Vivo V11 Pro arrived not long after the launch of the Vivo V9, the two phones are not that different in terms of design. They have pretty much the same placements of SIM tray, ports, rear camera module, and buttons. Thanks to the all-plastic body, the smartphone is pretty light and easy to use with just one hand. While the Vivo V11 Pro and V9 have the same thickness of 7.9mm, the former is slightly taller, so you might feel the former bulkier in your pocket. The glossy back design looks great, but in exchange, it easily attracts smudges and fingerprints.
The Vivo V11 Pro has a really good display since it has been upgraded to a Super AMOLED panel. With a thin chin and side bezels, the V11 Pro has a pretty impressive screen-to-body ratio of 91.27 percent. That helps the phone have a large 6.41-inch display but doesn’t feel like a sizeable smartphone.
The display has great contrast, rich colours, and deep blacks. You won’t have any issue using the phone in direct sunlight. The handset also supports the always-on display option, which is highly recommended thanks to the OLED display technology. The water-drop notch at the top is pretty small and way less invasive than notches in other smartphones. Sadly, Vivo doesn’t offer an option to hide the notch, so you will have to get used to it.
If the Vivo V11 pro price Philippines is below PHP15,000, it is probably among the best picks for entertainment purposes thanks to the AMOLED display.
Vivo V11 Pro review: Performance
The phone features the mid-range Snapdragon 660 AIE chipset with eight Kryo 260 cores along with 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, and an Adreno 512 GPU. The response rates were good and on par with other smartphones with similar specifications. Even during gaming or benchmarking, the device didn’t heat up too much, which is a plus.
As for gaming, the Andreno 512 GPU inside the phone isn’t the best GPU in the price range. That is why demanding games like Asphalt 9: Legends and PUBG Mobile only ran at low or medium settings by default. I could still increase the graphics in PUBG Mobile, but it will, in return, led to more stutters in gameplay.
For a similar price, you can check out the Vivo S1 Pro with the Snapdragon 665 SoC.
Vivo V11 Pro review: Cameras
Rear cameras
- 12MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture
- 5MP depth-sensing camera with f/2.4 aperture
Front camera
- 25MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture
The main camera supports dual pixel autofocus, but it doesn’t have optical stabilization. The camera was pretty fast at locking focus, even when I tried shifting focus between subjects. That got a bit slower in low-light conditions. The Auto HDR feature also did a good job at balancing the exposure of bright and dark areas pretty well.
Under good lighting conditions, there is no noticeable shutter lag, which is a big plus when trying to capture moving subjects like pets. The colors and detail level in landscape shots were great, and close-up shots had a smooth bokeh effect. In low-light situations, details were plenty even for objects at a far distance, and noise was also handled quite well. The 4K video was good when recorded in good lighting conditions and got a bit grainy when it got darker.
The second camera has a 5MP resolution and is used for gauging depth. It is activated when users switch to bokeh mode. The results were useable, but the edge detection was pretty bad.
As mentioned, this is a selfie-centric camera and it did live up to expectations. Its 25MP selfie camera is among the best you can get in the segment. Photos are well-exposed and sharp and you have several lighting modes to play around with, similar to what Apple offers. The AI Face Beauty mode automatically applies filters to your photos, but you can change that if they don’t fit your styles.
It didn’t take me too much time to get used to the camera app, but I feel like the layout still needs improving. It wasn’t quick for me to get to the shooting mode I was looking for. The viewfinder had to adapt to the mode before I could move to the next one.

Vivo V11 Pro review: Battery
With medium usage, the phone could easily last a full day or more. 30 minutes of playing PUBG Mobile drained around 11 percent of the battery. Thanks to the 18W fast charging support, the device could refill 42 percent of its battery in just 30 minutes and 80 percent in around an hour.
Vivo V11 Pro price Philippines & Specifications: Verdict
For a price of under PHP 15,000, the Vivo V11 (Pro) is a decent pick if you care much about consuming media or cameras. If you pay more attention to performance, you might need to take a look at other options.
