How To Get GCash Card: What You Need To Know
You have already signed up for a GCash account and want to apply for a GCash card. With a GCash Mastercard, you can withdraw your money from your GCash account in more than 20,000 ATMs around the country. You can also use the card to shop at stores or on websites accepting debit and credit cards. If you want to enjoy the benefits of a GCash Mastercard, here is how to get GCash card.
The process of getting a GCash Mastercard isn’t the same as those regular debit and credit cards. Follow these steps below to get your GCash card.
How to get a GCash card
Step 1: Log in using your credentials
Open the GCash app and log in using your PIN.
Step 2: Select the Pay Bills option on the dashboard. Under the Biller Category, tap on Payment Solutions. Then select GCAsh Mastercard.
Step 3: Enter your payment details on the GCash Mastercard Pay Bills page. These include your phone number, email address, and amount to pay. For the GCash Mastercard kit, you will need to pay P150. Tap Next once you have enter all the required information.
Step 4: Receive a confirmation message
Once you have set your payment, a confirmation message will be sent to your device.
Step 5: Go to the Mastercard Store.
You won’t have to visit a physical store. Go to this link https://www.gcash.com/mc-store/orders.
You can also do this inside the app. From your dashboard, tap Show More. Select Cash Out under Fund Management category. And then choose either Delivery or Pickup under GCash Mastercard. After that, you will be redirected to the Mastercard Store.
Step 6: Enter the necessary details.
When you are in the GCash Mastercard Store, you will need to scroll down to see the Order Details where you need to enter the necessary information like your full name, mobile number, and shipping address.
Step 7: Submit details.
Double-check the information you have provided before tapping Submit Verification Details.
Step 8: Wait for your GCash card.
Now you will need to wait for your GCash Mastercard to be delivered. Once your payment is confirmed, the card will arrive within 10 working days.
Step 9: Claim your card.
When the card arrives, you will need to provide a valid ID to receive the card. However, you can also authorize another person to get the card for you by giving them an authorization letter of your valid ID.
Those who live outside of coverage areas will receive a call saying that your card is ready for pick-up at the nearest LBC branch.
Step 10: Activate your GCash Mastercard.
For the card to work, you will have to activate it. With your GCash-registered number, dial *143#, select option 1 for GCash, then option 1 for Activate Card. Enter the necessary details like your card number and your MPIN.
